AMC has developed a screw design that provides a typical reduction of melt temperature of up to 15 - 20°F, while providing superior plastification.

A reduction of melt temperature extends the reaction or decomposition time significantly. Typically, a reduction of melt temperature of 15 - 20°F can double the decomposition time of C-PVC compounds.
