Your career start should fit you perfectly. With this in mind, we offer career starters a wide range of opportunities for orientation and training.
We train about 30 young people every year in six different vocations. Numerous others familiarize themselves with our company and the extrusion industry by way of internships and trainee programs. We also support dual students in their careers with blocks of practical training in our various departments.
In all of these cases we make a special point of offering personal support provided by our highly qualified supervisors and training officers.

We currently offer training in six different vocations: as electronics technicians for production engineering, IT specialists for application development, industrial managers, industrial mechanics, technical product designers and cutting machine operators (all genders). Here, practical training in our German sites is combined with theoretical teaching provided by our long-standing technical college partners.
At our site in Austria, we provide trainings for the following professions: Electrical engineering/ plant and operating technology, mechatronics/automation technology, mechatronics/electrical machine technology, mechatronics/production technology and metal technology/machining technology.

battenfeld-cincinnati trainee program
With our trainee program, we give university graduates an opportunity to familiarize themselves with our company for a period of twelve to twenty-four months. They pass through various departments, work together with experienced colleagues and gain valuable insights into the working processes of an internationally active industrial company.
After successful completion of your trainee program, you will be employed in line with your area of specialization in one of the following areas: application and process technology, sales, or tooling and development construction.

Practice-integrated dual studies at battenfeld-cincinnati
Our dual and practice-integrated study cooperations our German sites combines the acquisition of theoretical knowledge with learning practical skills. The courses consist of alternating theory and practice blocks of several weeks – to achieve optimal practical relevance together with sound, directly applicable expert knowledge.
