PVC pipes are an essential part of the sewerage system. Both pressurized and non-pressurized pipes, as well as solid-wall pipes, corrugated pipes and multi-layer pipes are generally produced from PVC or other plastic materials such as PE and PP today.

In the high-load segment of road construction and underground engineering, PVC pipes are preferred on account of their high rigidity. The smooth surface on which the pipes are placed gives them significantly more effective drainage properties than those of circular corrugated pipes.
