Cable ducts (PVC)

For manufacturing cable ducts, our customers from the electrical industry, the automotive sector and other branches of industry rely on extrusion technology from battenfeld-cincinnati. On our extruders, PVC, PP and PO pipes are produced which protect high-voltage, news transmission, control and communication cables effectively against external impact. For halogen-free installations in buildings, PPO or ABS-PC blends are also used to a lesser extent. In the automotive industry though, cable ducts made of polyamide are standard.

Cable ducts can be produced with either smooth or corrugated surfaces. In the development of our extrusion lines for cable conduits, we pay special attention to reaching excellent pipe rigidity levels, while keeping the pipe weight as light as possible. We adapt our machines precisely to your specific requirements with the possibility to produce a great variety of different pipe wall structures and pipe dimensions.
