Cable ducts (PO)

On extrusion technology from battenfeld-cincinnati, plastic pipes are manufactured to shield power, news transmission, control and communication cables, and power supply lines against external impact. Here, the most frequently used materials are PO, PP and PVC. To a lesser extent, PPO or ABS-PC blends are also used for halogen-free installations in buildings. In the automotive industry, corrugated conduits made of polyamide are used as well.

High-quality cable ducts can be produced with either smooth or corrugated surfaces. In developing our extrusion lines for this field of application, we pay special attention to reaching an excellent degree of rigidity, while keeping the pipe weight as light as possible. We adapt our machines precisely to your specific needs, with a great variety of different pipe wall structures and dimensions being feasible. We can offer you excellent solutions especially in the growth segment of micro duct and multi duct pipes.
